It was my 4th surgery and to have found this institute was a GOD SENT! I knew I wanted to make sure that I was in good hands with someone who is certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage! Please be careful out there as there are many places and people that claim to do lymphatic drainage but you must look for the credentials (CLT and MLD)! Ana is a PT and holds these titles and not to mention the years of experience and knowledge she has in this field. She is soothing from the moment you meet her and throughout the entire hour long session. Alice at the front desk handles all the administrative duties and is super efficient and professional in what she does. I spent 2020 during the worst Covid year undergoing chemotherapy and I later developed lymphedema and edema of the breast and my oncologist said I needed therapy to relieve that. Instead of going to the University Of Miami at Lennar, I decided to go for treatment under the care of physical therapist, Ana Mendiet; and it was the best decision I made. She helped me so much. I have the highest opinion of Ana Mendieta as a person, as a physical therapist, for her professionalism, extensive experience, her ethics, and her advanced degree/studies in physical therapy, specializing in lymphedema. Ana Mendieta is able to treat other ailments as well, and I rest assured of her continuing specialized training and expertise, professionalism, warmth, compassion and kindness, in a relaxed atmosphere, so much appreciated.
